The Faculty of Agriculture UGM (Faperta UGM) held a Workshop on Filling Out Accreditation Submission Documents for the Independent Accreditation Agency for Agricultural Higher Education (LAM PTIP) on Friday, February 6, 2026. This activity was the first workshop in a series of four sessions designed to strengthen the quality of education at the faculty level. The opening was led by the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Firdausi Nur Azizah, S.P., followed by remarks from the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Dyah Weny Respatie, S.P., M.Si., who emphasized Faperta UGM’s commitment to maintaining sustainable agricultural education quality. read more

A student team from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) successfully won the Silver Medal (2nd Place) the International Essay Competition, part of the 2nd International Student Summit 2026 (2nd ISS 2026), held in Malaysia on February 14–15, 2026.

This achievement highlights the academic capacity of UGM students in producing innovative ideas relevant to global issues. The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), participated in the First Planting of Superior Cocoa Demonstration Plot in Jambusari Village, Jeruklegi District, Cilacap Regency, on Thursday, March 26, 2026. This event is part of a pilot project for the production of high-quality and sustainable cocoa supported by Fuji Oil Co., Ltd., and serves as a platform for applied research implementation and community engagement.

The program commenced with opening remarks from the Head of the Agriculture Office of Cilacap Regency, the Head of Jambusari Village, the Vice Dean for Collaboration of Faperta UGM, Prof. Subejo, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., and a representative of Fuji Oil Co., Ltd. The symbolic planting of cocoa seedlings marked the official launch of the superior cocoa development program in the area. read more
