Cost of Living

Yogyakarta special province has one of the lowest costs of living of all the Indonesian provinces.

  • Monthly living cost for transportation between IDR150,000 and IDR250,000;
  • cost for meals between IDR500,000 and IDR750,000; and
  • cost for books and photocopies between IDR100,000 and IDR250,000

There are many type of boarding houses for student in Yogyakarta, you can stay at a traditional boarding house that costs between IDR90,000 and IDR350,000 per month or stay at the university housing that costs between IDR1,850,000 and IDR3,950,000.
