The Faculty of Agriculture UGM (Faperta UGM) held a Workshop on Filling Out Accreditation Submission Documents for the Independent Accreditation Agency for Agricultural Higher Education (LAM PTIP) on Friday, February 6, 2026. This activity was the first workshop in a series of four sessions designed to strengthen the quality of education at the faculty level. The opening was led by the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Firdausi Nur Azizah, S.P., followed by remarks from the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Dyah Weny Respatie, S.P., M.Si., who emphasized Faperta UGM’s commitment to maintaining sustainable agricultural education quality.

This workshop continued the momentum of previous LAM PTIP accreditation socialization activities, which were organized to support five faculties in achieving excellent accreditation status, with Faperta UGM holding a strategic and promising position.

During the session, representatives from various study programs presented updates on the progress of their accreditation documents, discussed key challenges, and explored strategies for improving the submission. Technical guidance on completing the accreditation forms was also provided to ensure alignment with LAM PTIP standards.

The workshop was highly interactive, featuring in-depth discussions among study programs to ensure that each submission document accurately reflects the achievements of the tridharma of higher education. Beyond administrative preparation, the workshop also emphasized strengthening curricula that address contemporary agricultural challenges, including climate adaptation and advances in agricultural technology.

These efforts toward excellent accreditation strengthen Faperta UGM’s role as a driving force for inclusive and globally-oriented Indonesian agricultural development. Furthermore, this activity also demonstrates Faperta UGM’s contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality education, SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure, SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production, and SDG 16: Peace, justice, and strong institutions.
