The UGM Patriot Expedition Team Morotai 2026 successfully organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the transmigration community in Morodadi Village, Pulau Morotai Regency, North Maluku, on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The activity aimed to explore local potential, map agricultural challenges, and examine downstream utilization of plantation waste to improve community welfare. The Ministry of Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia, in collaboration with ten partner universities including Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), is implementing the Patriot Expedition Team (TEP) 2026 Program. This initiative runs for four months, from August to November 2026, with the aim of conducting community service, empowerment, and research in transmigration areas.
