The Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (Faperta UGM) held a coordination meeting for the preparation of the field assessment (AL) for the Doctoral Study Program in Agricultural Sciences on Friday, May 29, 2026. This activity is a strategic step ahead of the field assessment scheduled to take place on June 1–3, 2026 by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Agricultural Sciences (LAM PTIP).

In the upcoming field assessment, the Faculty of Agriculture will welcome the presence of two prominent assessors, namely Prof. Dr. Dewi Sukma, SP, M.Si. from Plant Biotechnology Division, Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) and Prof. Dr. Siti Herlinda from the Department of Plant Pests and Diseases at Sriwijaya University (UNSRI). The presence of these two experts is expected to strengthen the academic evaluation process and provide constructive input for the development of doctoral study programs. read more

The Study Program of Economics of Agriculture and Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), held the Agripreneur Expo 2026 on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium. The event served as the culmination of the entrepreneurship course, where students worked in groups to establish businesses while directly applying agricultural economics and agribusiness knowledge.

The Expo was designed as a learning space that encourages students not only to understand business concepts but also to dare to develop ideas into real enterprises. Through this practical process, students were invited to build critical, creative, and adaptive thinking skills in responding to opportunities in the agricultural sector. read more
