Faperta UGM Students Officially Hold Bachelor’s Degrees in Graduation Period February 2025

Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) on 26 February, 2025 released 64 graduates from Bachelor of Agriculture program, 7 of whom were fast track program students.

M. Fathoni Akmal, or familiarly called Akmal, was named the best graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture with a very satisfying Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.93 out of 4.00. Akmal successfully completed his studies in 4 years 2 months 4 days. Another achievement was achieved by Tiara Nabila who became the fastest graduate. Tiara completed her studies in 3 years 4 months and 28 days. Not only that, Tiara was also recorded as the youngest graduate at the age of 21 years, 2 months, 30 days and graduated with a GPA of 3.86.

Dean of Faculty of Agriculture UGM, Ir. Jaka Widada, M.P., Ph.D, in his speech congratulated all graduates. He also expressed his hope that the graduates could develop science and technology and become agents of positive change in society. He also expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the best graduating students from each department.

“Faculty of Agriculture UGM is committed to producing graduates who not only have high abilities and skills. But also have strong character and integrity,” said the Dean in his speech at Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium.

With the graduation of 64 agricultural graduates, the Faculty of Agriculture UGM again sent the next generation of competent and highly dedicated nation in the field of agriculture. It is expected that the graduates can contribute significantly to the sustainable development of Indonesian agriculture. This shows the commitment of Faperta UGM in the program to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 2: No Hunger, SDG 3: Healthy and Prosperous Life, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequality, SDG 15: Terrestrial Ecosystems, SDG 17: Partnership to Achieve Goals
