news Thursday, 12 October 2023

Faculty of Agriculture UGM conducted water resources conservation program in agricultural land located at Nawungan, Imogiri, Bantul to overcome drought in agricultural land from August 2022 until December 2022. Chaired by Dr. Jamhari, S.P., M.P., the program had another goal to make Nawungan as a prototype of productive conservation agriculture. The following are the team members:

  1. Nur Ainun H.J. Pulungan, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D.
  2. Chandra Setyawan, S.TP., M.Eng., Ph.D.
  3. Edy Trihatmoko, S.Si., M.Sc.
  4. Pramasti Dyah Nhindyasari, S.P., M.Sc.
  5. Ahmad Priyo Sambodo, S.Si., M.Sc.

This water resources conservation program collaborated with the Lestari Mulyo Farmer Group, an association of Nawungan farmers, to be directly involved in a series of programs. Therefore, it was urgent to make a reservoir to collect rainwater using geomembranes. read more
