The Undergraduate Program in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness (EPA), Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), has successfully achieved “Excellent” accreditation status from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), valid from 5 November 2024 to 10 July 2029. This achievement is a recognition of the Faculty of Agriculture’s commitment to delivering high-quality education aligned with industry and societal needs.
The “Excellent” accreditation was granted after a rigorous evaluation process conducted by BAN-PT, which included assessments of the curriculum, facilities, faculty qualifications, and research conducted within the faculty.
Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) held a Syawalan gathering on 11 April 2025 at Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium. The syawalan was attended by the entire extended family of Faperta UGM, ranging from teaching staff, administration staff, retired and student representatives.
The event began with remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, Ir. Jaka Widada, M.P., Ph.D. The Dean of Faculty of Agriculture UGM welcomed the invited guests and thanked all the committees who had worked hard, in organizing this event. This event also aims to make every family in Faculty of Agricultural Sciences UGM can forgive each other and create a productive and harmonious environment on campus. This moment is not only a celebration but also a means of strengthening the relationship between the academic community.
