UGM’s Faculty of Agriculture Holds the “PONDASI UAS” Program to Support Students

The Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (Faperta UGM) has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting student well-being through the PONDASI UAS (Free Breakfast Program for Final Semester Exams). This initiative provides 200 free breakfast portions daily for Faculty of Agriculture students taking their Final Semester Exams (UAS) for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

The program runs from June 9–19, 2026, from 6:30 a.m. WIB until finished, at the UGM Faculty of Agriculture’s Healthy Canteen. Students wishing to participate simply need to show their exam card to receive breakfast. read more

UGM PKP Students Contribute to Climate Change Mitigation Training

Students of the Agricultural Extension and Communication (BAEC) Study Program, class of 2023, Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (Faperta UGM), participated in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Berdampak (MBKB) program through mentoring in Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Training for Independent Agricultural Extension Workers. This intensive activity took place for five days on April 6–10, 2026, at the UPTD Center for Agricultural Human Resources Development (BPSDMP) Jaranan, Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul, as well as through field visits to the Yogyakarta Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG DIY) Climatology Station and Rejo Farm, Sleman. read more

UGM Faculty of Agriculture Holds Coordination Meeting for Preparation of LAM PTIP Field Assessment

The Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (Faperta UGM) held a coordination meeting for the preparation of the field assessment (AL) for the Doctoral Study Program in Agricultural Sciences on Friday, May 29, 2026. This activity is a strategic step ahead of the field assessment scheduled to take place on June 1–3, 2026 by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Agricultural Sciences (LAM PTIP).

In the upcoming field assessment, the Faculty of Agriculture will welcome the presence of two prominent assessors, namely Prof. Dr. Dewi Sukma, SP, M.Si. from Plant Biotechnology Division, Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) and Prof. Dr. Siti Herlinda from the Department of Plant Pests and Diseases at Sriwijaya University (UNSRI). The presence of these two experts is expected to strengthen the academic evaluation process and provide constructive input for the development of doctoral study programs. read more
