
The Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (Faperta UGM) held a series of Field Assessments for the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program on Monday, June 8, 2026. The activity took place in the Dean’s Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, UGM from 08.00 to 17.00 WIB, with the agenda of the assessment opening, a joint session with the heads of study program management units, confirmation of LKPS and LED data, discussions with internal quality assurance implementers, UPPS management, alumni, external users, and students. In addition, the assessment also included laboratory and learning facility visits, independent work by the assessor team, as well as delivery of feedback and signing of minutes by the field assessor team.

This activity was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Herlinda, M.Sc. and Prof. Dr. Ir. Soetriono, M.P. as assessors of LAM PTIP, along with the leadership of the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, including Prof. Ir. Jaka Widada, M.P., Ph.D. as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Dyah Weny Respatie, S.P., M.Sc. as Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Subejo, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Cooperation, and Dr. R.A. Siti Ari Budhiyanti, S.T.P., M.P. as Vice Dean for Finance, Assets and Human Resources.

Also present were Dr. Firdausi Nur Azizah, S.P. as Head of the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Agriculture, Agus Sudarwinto, S.E., M.M. as Head of the Administration Office of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Irham, M.Sc. as Head of the Department of Agricultural Socioeconomics, Dr. Dyah Woro Untari, S.P., M.P. as Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Socioeconomics, Sugiyarto, S.P., M.Sc. as Head of Quality Assurance of the Department of Agricultural Socioeconomics, Ratih Ineke Wati, S.P., M.Agr., Ph.D. as Head of the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program, and Dr.agr. Sri Peni Wastutiningsih as Head of the Agricultural Extension and Communication Laboratory.
The implementation of this assessment is not only an important part of the accreditation process, but also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. Through continuous quality improvement, capacity building of future agricultural professionals, strengthening institutional governance, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program contributes to sustainable agricultural and rural development.
