Five faculties within the agrocomplex cluster of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) organized a workshop on the socialization of policies, mechanisms, and accreditation instruments of the Independent Accreditation Agency for Agricultural Higher Education (LAM PTIP) as part of efforts to strengthen institutional readiness for the accreditation process. The event was held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (WIB) at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Forestry UGM, and was attended by approximately 75 participants, primarily comprising faculty leadership.

This workshop is a result of collaboration between the University Quality Assurance and Reputation Unit (SPMRU) UGM with the Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, and the Vocational School. This reflects the seriousness of agrocomplex faculties, including the Faculty of Agriculture, in strengthening academic quality and preparing for the accreditation process according to LAM PTIP standards.

Currently, there are approximately 2.046 study programs under the auspices of LAM PTIP, covering the fields of agriculture, animal science, forestry, fisheries, and related technologies. Scientific field relevance is one of the important aspects in the accreditation process, making this workshop a strategic forum to strengthen the understanding and readiness of agrocomplex faculties, including the Faculty of Agriculture.
The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to the speakers by Dr. Dyah Weny Respatie, S.P., M.Si., as the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture. Additionally, mementos were also presented by Prof. Dr. Yudi Pranoto, S.T.P., M.P., as the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology. The presentation served as a symbol of support and appreciation for the speakers’ contributions in strengthening the participants’ understanding.
This workshop not only strengthens accreditation readiness but also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality education, SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the goals.
