The commitment to strengthening the protection and empowerment of Indonesian farmers has entered a strategic phase through the Harmonization of the Third Amendment Bill to Law Number 19 of 2013. The event, held at the DPD RI Building, featured Prof. Subejo, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., Professor of the Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University, as Coordinator of the Expert Team for Drafting the Bill. The series of the second day of the Summer Course on Sustainable Tropical Agriculture and Fisheries (SC-STAF) 2026, organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, concluded with an in-depth interactive discussion. The closing session featured an international academic and Assistant Professor in agricultural economics from Shimane University, Japan, namely Rosalia Natalia Seleky, Ph.D.
