The vision of the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), Smart Eco-bioproduction, is not only a guiding principle for its academic community but also shared with visitors to the Faculty’s booth during AgriFest 2024, held from 5-7 September 2024, at the Center for Agro-Technology Innovation (PIAT) UGM. Nadya Mangesti Wibowo (Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness 2022) was awarded Best Presenter at The 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Agricultural Socioeconomics, Agribusiness, and Rural Development (ICSASARD) 2024, under the sub-theme Inclusive Rural Development. The award was presented on October 17, 2024, at The Alana Hotel Yogyakarta. Nadya’s presentation, titled “The ‘Dadi Wong’ Philosophy: A Glimpse into Yogyakarta Farmers and Their Hopes for Regeneration”, highlighted the findings of her research. read more

AgriFest 2024, organized by UGM’s Center for Agrotechnology Innovation (PIAT), provided a platform for a Faculty of Agriculture UGM student to practice public speaking skills. On the first day of the national talk show held on Thursday, 5 September 2024, Havidah Tria Yunita, a student from the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program (class of 2021), was entrusted as the moderator for Session I.
