Offline services: facilities, circulation, study spaces, and administration
In terms of offline services, the library provides circulation facilities for borrowing and returning textbooks through UGM’s SIMASTER system. Students can also utilize comfortable study spaces equipped with computers, access to UGM Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) collections, Faperta UGM‑specific ETD collections, discussion areas, and relaxation zones. Additional services include collection searches through computer catalogs, manual catalogs, or assistance from librarians, as well as periodical services containing journals, bulletins, magazines, and local and international newspapers.
To support smooth academic activities, the library also offers administrative services such as clearance letters (surat bebas pustaka), membership services, and correspondence. Students can use the Turnitin check service via the page http://ugm.id/similarityPN to verify the originality of their written works. In addition, self‑service facilities are available to enable more efficient book borrowing.
Online services: digital catalogs, AGRO Digilib, and subscribed journals
On the online side, the Faperta UGM Library can be accessed through http://lib.fapertaugm.ac.id for catalog searches and online databases. The AGRO Digilib service, a collaboration with Kubuku.id, provides digital books, lecture notes, and teaching materials accessible via Android, iOS, and Windows. The library also subscribes to several reputable journals, including CABI Compendium, Taylor & Francis, Nature, Oxford Academic, and various other scientific sources to support the quality of student research.
