Halal Bi Halal at UGM Faculty of Agriculture: Strengthening Fellowship and Synergy

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, convened the Halal Bi Halal of the Faculty’s Big Family on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Prof. Ir. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium. This annual gathering served as a meaningful occasion to reinforce fellowship among faculty members, staff, students, and alumni, while simultaneously reaffirming collective commitment to addressing the challenges of agriculture in the modern era.


Halal Bi Halal, deeply rooted in Indonesian cultural and religious tradition, is not only a celebration of forgiveness and reconciliation but also a platform to strengthen academic solidarity. The presence of the entire Faculty community underscored the importance of unity as a foundation for collaboration in research, education, and community service.
In his address, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, Prof. Ir. Jaka Widada, M.P., Ph.D., emphasized the significance of opening hearts in forgiveness and using the Halal Bi Halal as a momentum to reinforce togetherness. He highlighted the necessity of synergy across departments in responding to strategic issues such as food security, digitalization, and agricultural modernization. read more

Opening a New Chapter: The Warmth of Faperta UGM’s Syawalan Strengthens Steps Toward Smart Eco-Bioproduction

A warm and familial atmosphere enveloped the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Under a clear sky, the faculty’s big family gathered for the Halalbihalal agenda to celebrate the victory of Eid al-Fitr. The event began solemnly with the soothing recitation of Gema Wahyu Ilahi, as if washing the souls of every attending member of the academic community to return to a pure nature (fitrah).

The emotional peak of the event was clearly visible during the gathering session. It was here that formal boundaries momentarily dissolved. From the leadership and senior lecturers to the staff and retirees who have served the faculty, everyone blended into one long, solemn line. read more

Strengthening Ties and Synergy, Faperta UGM Holds Grand Family Halal Bihalal

Marking the beginning of Shawwal, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), held its Grand Family Halal Bihalal. The solemn gathering was attended by faculty leaders, academic staff, administrative personnel, retirees, and student representatives. The event opened with a collective prayer as a form of gratitude for the smooth observance of worship during the month of Ramadan. The atmosphere became even more serene as the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur’an resonated during the Gema Wahyu Ilahi session, providing a spiritual reminder for all attendees filling the venue. read more
