Dr. agr. Ir. Sri Peni Wastutiningsih, a lecturer in the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program at the Faculty of Agriculture UGM (Faperta UGM), Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Nuryani, a Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, and their team conducted a series of village development activities at the “Tol Kahyangan” tourist destination in Wonolelo Village, Magelang, Central Java, through a community service grant funded by the UGM Directorate of Community Service. The activities took place from August to November 2024.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) has launched a community service program titled “Optimizing Backyard Land for Enhancing Sub-Urban Household Food Security in Sukoharjo Regency.” This program involved a team consisting of lecturers and students from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, including Hariyani Dwi Anjani, S.P., M.Sc., Asih Kusumaningsih, S.P., M.Sc., Dr. Ega Adhi Wicaksono, S.Pi., and 5 undergraduate students from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM.
The Agricultural Microbiology Study Program , Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), has successfully achieved excellent accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) at the undergraduate level. This accreditation is valid from 5 November 2024 to 10 April 2029, as a recognition of the quality of education, research, and community service provided by the Study Program.
The Head of the Study Program, Ir. Ngadiman, M.Si., Ph.D., stated that this achievement is the result of hard work from all academic staff. He hopes this recognition will further strengthen the program’s commitment to improving the quality of education.
