Gadjah Mada University (UGM) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to innovation in higher education through the implementation of the 2026 UGM Computer-Based Test (UM UGM CBT). As one of UGM’s admission pathways, the computer-based examination reflects the university’s extensive utilization of information technology to ensure an efficient, transparent, and accessible selection process. This year, the examination was attended by 44,972 applicants and conducted from June 2 to 8, 2026, across two main locations, Yogyakarta and Jakarta.

As part of its institutional contribution, the Faculty of Agriculture, UGM, was designated as one of the official venues for the implementation of UM UGM CBT 2026. Several facilities were prepared to support the examination process, including the Agricultural Learning Center (AGLC) Building, 6th Floor, the KPTU Room in Building A1, 3rd Floor, and the Computing Laboratory in Building A2, 3rd Floor. These facilities were optimized to ensure a smooth and reliable computer-based testing experience for all participants.

The examination at the Faculty of Agriculture was conducted in a well-organized and professional manner, supported by effective coordination among faculty staff and administrators. The site was coordinated by Tantriani, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D. and Enik Nurlaili Afifah, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., with Agus Sudarwinto, S.E., M.M. serving as Deputy Site Coordinator.
The presence of prospective students at the Faculty of Agriculture not only reflects public trust in UGM’s academic excellence but also highlights the faculty’s active role in supporting equitable access to quality higher education. Through the provision of adequate facilities and professional services, the faculty contributes to creating a transparent, inclusive, and technology-driven admissions process.
The implementation of UM UGM CBT 2026 at the Faculty of Agriculture contributes to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
