Franky Sanjaya Galingging, a student of the Soil Science Study Program (2022) at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada University (Faperta UGM), had the opportunity to be one of the awardees in the Six Universities Initiative Japan Indonesia Service Learning Program (SUIJI-SLP) 2024. This program is a collaboration of a consortium of six prestigious universities in Japan and Indonesia, including Ehime University, Kagawa University, Kochi University, IPB University, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Hasanuddin University.

Faculty of Agriculture UGM Prepares 140 Prospective Graduates for Academic Year 2024/2025 Graduation
The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) once again held a Pre-Graduation Briefing for Bachelor’s Degree Candidates on Monday, 18 November 2024, at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium. The event was attended by 140 prospective graduates—40 male and 100 female students—for the first graduation period of the 2024/2025 academic year.
In her opening remarks, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Dyah Weny Respatie, S.P., M.Si., expressed appreciation for the hard work and accomplishments of the graduating students.
The Faculty of Agriculture UGM held a Preparatory Session for Bachelor’s Degree Graduation Candidates on Monday, 18 November 2024, at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium, attended by 140 prospective graduates. The session featured Ignatius Putra Andika, S.P., M.Sc., an alumnus of the Faculty of Agriculture class of 2011 and currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Biology, Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta. He delivered a presentation titled “Tips for Preparing Personal and Research Statements: What They Don’t Tell You.”
