Site Assessment of the Master of Soil Science Program at the Faculty of Agriculture UGM Strengthens Academic Quality

The Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (Faperta UGM) held a Field Assessment of the Master of Soil Science Study Program which took place in the Venture Room, AGLC Building, Faculty of Agriculture, UGM on Thursday, June 11, 2026. This activity is an important momentum in ensuring the academic quality and reputation of the study program, while strengthening the faculty’s commitment to national accreditation standards.

The field assessment was attended by faculty leaders, including Prof. Dr. Indra Wijaya Kusuma, M.B.A. as Head of the University Quality Assurance and Reputation Unit (SPMRU), Prof. Ir. Jaka Widada, M.P., Ph.D. as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Dyah Weny Respatie, S.P., M.Si. as Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, and Dr. R.A. Siti Ari Budhiyanti, S.T.P., M.P. as Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources. Also present were Dr. Firdausi Nur Azizah, S.P. as Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, Agus Sudarwinto, S.E., M.M. as Head of the Administration Office, Dr.Agr. Makruf Nurudin, S.P., M.P. as Head of the Land Department, Prof. Benito Heru Purwanto as Head of the Master of Soil Science Study Program, and Dr. Agr. Cahyo Wulandari, S.P., M.P. as Secretary of the Department. read more

DPD RI Committee II Holds Validation Test of Farmer Protection and Empowerment Bill at UGM’s Faculty of Agriculture

The Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (Faperta UGM) hosted a Seminar on the Validity Test of the Draft Law on the Third Amendment to Law Number 19 of 2013 concerning the Protection and Empowerment of Farmers, organized by Committee II of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 in the Seminar Room, Building A1, 3rd Floor. This activity was also attended by the Deputy Chair of Committee II of the DPD RI A. Abd. Waris Halid, S.S., M.M., members of Committee II, academics, practitioners, students, and farmer representatives. read more

Faculty of Agriculture Holds Workshop on Drafting SAR for ASIIN Batch 1 Reaccreditation

The Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (Faperta UGM) has once again demonstrated its commitment to maintaining academic quality and international reputation through the Workshop on Compiling Draft Joint Self-Assessment Report (SAR) ASIIN Batch 1 Reaccreditation. This event took place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 09.00–16.00 WIB, at Pandawa 1, 1st Floor, Swiss-Belboutique Yogyakarta, Jl. Jend. Sudirman No. 69, Terban, Gondokusuman, Yogyakarta.

This activity was attended by the Team The ASIIN reaccreditation of the Faculties of Agriculture and Forestry involved an internal review with Muhlisin, S.Pt., M.Agri., Ph.D., IPP from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry. This cross-faculty presence reflects the spirit of collaboration and synergy in supporting the international reaccreditation process. read more
