Faculty of Agriculture Participates in the Socialization of Forms and SCA 2026 Assistance

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), took part in the Socialization of Forms and Assistance for the Sustainability Campus Action (SCA) 2026 organized by the University’s Quality Assurance and Reputation Unit (SPMRU) on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, via an online platform. This activity served as a follow-up to the launch of the SCA 2026 program held on March 3, 2026.
In this agenda, the Faculty of Agriculture was represented by the Head of the Administration Office, Agus Sudarwinto, S.E., M.M., along with his team. Each participant received guidance on completing the sustainability forms, which included indicators from UI GreenMetric, QS Sustainability Rankings, and THE Impact Rankings, as well as directions regarding the implementation of sustainability-oriented initiatives at the faculty level.
As part of the program, each faculty will be granted funding of IDR 20,000,000 to support at least five sustainability-related activities. These initiatives include training on waste management using digital scales, energy efficiency practices, water conservation efforts, and other programs relevant to the agricultural sector.
The Faculty of Agriculture’s contribution to SCA 2026 supports the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely SDG 6: Clean water and sanitation, SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy, SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production, SDG 13: Climate action, and SDG 15: Life on land. read more

UGM Faculty of Agriculture Opens Summer Course 2025: Exploring Sustainable Tropical Agriculture Through Coffee

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), officially launched the Summer Course on Sustainable Tropical Agriculture 2025 (SC-STA 2025) on Monday, 21 July 2025, held virtually via Zoom. Carrying the theme “The Journey of Coffee from Seed to Cup,” the program brought together 52 participants from diverse educational levels and professional backgrounds, both from Indonesia and abroad, including Gambia, Sudan, the Philippines, Singapore, Pakistan, India, Ghana, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia. read more

The Community Service–Community Empowerment Learning Program of Universitas Gadjah Mada (KKN-PPM UGM) “Melukis Pakis” carried out a community empowerment program in Ketundan and Kragilan Villages, Pakis Subdistrict, Magelang Regency, Central Java.
