The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), continues to promote a healthy lifestyle by holding its regular morning exercise session on Friday, 10 January 2025. This activity is part of the Health Promoting University (HPU) initiative, aimed at enhancing the physical fitness and well-being of faculty members and administrative staff.

The exercise session started promptly at 7:00 AM in the open area of the Faculty of Agriculture, with an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and positive energy. Guided by a professional fitness instructor, participants eagerly followed each movement designed to stretch muscles and improve physical health. The upbeat music accompanying the session added to the cheerful mood, encouraging everyone to move together with joy.

“Friday aerobics sessions help us feel more refreshed and motivated to work. I truly appreciate the continuous support from the Dean’s Office in providing facilities that promote the well-being and health of lecturers and staff,” said Agus Sudarwinto, S.E., M.M., Head of the Administrative Office, Faculty of Agriculture, UGM.

Beyond promoting physical health, this activity also aims to strengthen camaraderie among academic members and foster a healthy, productive working atmosphere.

This initiative is also part of the Faculty of Agriculture UGM’s commitment to supporting several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Beyond promoting health, the exercise also served to strengthen the sense of community among academic staff and foster a healthy and productive work environment. This initiative is also part of Faperta UGM’s broader commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
