The Master’s Program in Agronomy at the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), has proudly earned an “Excellent” accreditation rating from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), effective from 19 August 2024 to 30 May 2027. This recognition reflects the program’s exceptional quality in education and research.
The “Excellent” accreditation was granted following a rigorous evaluation process, encompassing curriculum standards, facilities, and the performance of both faculty and students. Dr. Dyah Weny Respatie, S.P., M.Si., Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Agriculture, expressed her pride in this achievement, attributing it to the collective efforts of the academic community in consistently improving educational standards.
“We are immensely proud of this accomplishment, and we hope it will inspire other programs to continue innovating and enhancing quality education for students. With this accreditation, we aim to attract more talented students and contribute further to the development of agronomic science in Indonesia,” said Dr. Weny.
The Master’s Program in Agronomy at UGM remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering quality education and preparing graduates equipped to address global challenges in agriculture and food production.
This recognition further cements the Faculty of Agriculture UGM’s position as one of Indonesia’s leading institutions.
