CIRAD (La Recherche Agronomique Pour Le Développement) is the Center for International Agricultural Research in France which organizes to develop agricultural sustainability in the tropics and the Mediterranean area. CIRAD as a platform for researchers, especially in France and generally throughout the world, has cooperation with 90 countries in the world. One of CIRAD’s activities is to spread new knowledge in the current development of agriculture. The guest lecture with the topic “Photosynthesis and Climate Change” was given by D. Fabre who has long accompanied research in the tropics including Indonesia. The event opened by Dr. Ir. Endang Sulistyaningsih, M.Sc. Also attended by lecturers and agronomy students from various strata. The guest lecture which lasted for approximately two hours brought a lot of new knowledge about the effects of climate change which reduced rice production, especially in Indonesia. This production is influenced by photosynthesis which is inhibited in the stomata. The discussion going interestingly by bringing new ideas to be developed by agriculture in Indonesia, especially in rice cultivation. Mir

2019 inbound AIMS students who are now almost completing one semester at the Faculty of Agriculture UGM have the final project, Final Presentation. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Achmadi Priyatmojo, M.Sc. as the Head of the Cooperation, International and Alumni Unit. Also attending the AIMS lecturer was Ani Widyastuti, S.P., M.P., Ph.D. and Indy Rahmanto. AIMS companion students and alumni also attended to encourage and enthusiastically attend each presentation.
Each student and group of students from the same university present daily activities at their residence, lecture activities, and other extra activities. Many of them joined the university UKM which caused them to be quite busy with the activity. In addition to increasing friendship, they also gained a lot of new knowledge about Javanese traditions and the activities of the majority Muslim community around their homes. The Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Programme organized by SEAMEO Rihed has been running for 10 years since 2009, which was previously preceded by MIT (Malaysia – Indonesia Thailand) Exchange Student Program between Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia for 3 years. Every year, the program is evaluated, and during the year, the number of countries participating in the program increases. Currently, 9 countries that implement this program, namely Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, and the ninth country to join is Singapore.
