To strengthen organizational solidarity and farmers’ readiness in absorbing modern agricultural innovations, Lentera DESA from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM conducted training on group dynamics and institutional capacity for agricultural drivers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This training was enthusiastically attended by members of Women Farmer Groups (KWT), Farmer Groups (Poktan), and Combined Farmer Groups (Gapoktan) from various regencies/cities across DIY.

The learning session was designed to be interactive, participatory, and communicative by combining presentations, focused discussions, and group game simulations. This approach was implemented to build a deep understanding that the successful adoption of technology—such as precision and high-economic-value hydroponic cultivation systems—strongly relies on internal management cohesion, open communication, and equitable role distribution within farmer institutions. read more

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), in collaboration with Kagama Agriculture through the Smart Eco Bioproduction program, held a Pre-Graduation Briefing for Undergraduate Students, Period IV Academic Year 2025/2026. The event carried the theme “Keys to Success as a Young Entrepreneur” and took place at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium on August 20, 2026.

In her opening remarks, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Dyah Weny Respatie, S.P., M.Si., congratulated all prospective graduates who will officially graduate in this period.
