AgriFest 2024, organized by UGM’s Center for Agrotechnology Innovation (PIAT), provided a platform for a Faculty of Agriculture UGM student to practice public speaking skills. On the first day of the national talk show held on Thursday, 5 September 2024, Havidah Tria Yunita, a student from the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program (class of 2021), was entrusted as the moderator for Session I. The session’s theme was “Strengthening Food Security Programs to Realize the Vision of Golden Indonesia 2045”.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic officially inaugurated the Honorary Consulate General Representative Office in the Special Region of Yogyakarta on Tuesday, 29 October 2024. The office is located at the Agrotropica Learning Center (AGLC) Building, Faculty of Agriculture, UGM.
The establishment of this Honorary Consulate General Representative Office marks a strategic step to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and the Czech Republic, focusing on economic, cultural, and educational cooperation. The event was attended by several notable figures.
The Faculty of Agriculture UGM has once again implemented the Pondasi Program to support students during the Midterm Exams (UTS), which took place from 30 September to 11 October 2024. Every day, this program provided 200 free breakfast portions, aiming to enhance student welfare and readiness for exams. The program received support from various donors, including the Rahmat Foundation, which played a significant role in making this initiative possible.
