Elia Laila Rizqiyah, a postgraduate from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), achieved the distinction of being the youngest postgraduate graduate across UGM during the Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony for Period I of the 2024/2025 academic year, held on Thursday, 24 October 2024. Elia, who pursued the Fast Track program in the Soil Science for her Undergraduate and Master’s Programs, completed her Master’s degree at the remarkable age of 22 years and 6 months.

The Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony for Period I of the 2024/2025 Academic Year at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), was held on Thursday 24 October 2024, at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium. With a total of 78 Master’s graduates and 8 Doctoral graduates, Faperta UGM continues to demonstrate its capacity to produce outstanding graduates. One of the notable graduates this period is Dany Juhandi from the Doctoral Program in Agricultural Science, who achieved a perfect Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.00 out of 4.00 through a collaboration with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) under the Degree by Research (DBR) scholarship scheme.
Paguyuban Luhur Jiwo, as one of the targets of the community service team from the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program (Prodi PKP) at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, successfully won second place at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Local Leaders Forum for Disaster Resilience (APLL4DR) in Manila, the Philippines, on October 14, 2024. Paguyuban Luhur Jiwo, represented by Yustina Wardani, received support from the Prodi PKP community service team, coordinated by Mesalia Kriska, S.P., M.Sc., particularly in the creation of a profile video of the community’s activities, which was compiled by Abdurahman Agosto, S.T., and Ishadiyanto Salim, S.Pd., M.Pd. as a supporting element for the presentation.
