During Mid-Semester Exams, Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Gadjah Mada relaunched Pondasi UTS program to support students during exams period. The program has been running from April 14 to April 25, 2025. From 6:30 AM, 200 portions of food are served to support student well-being and preparedness for exams. The program is supported by various parties to ensure its success.

Pondasi UTS program which has been running since 2023, has received positive responses from students. Many of them feel greatly helped with free breakfast and drinks before exams. With academic pressure mounting in tight schedule, students often skip breakfast for studying. read more

The Agricultural Microbiology Student Association (PERMAHAMI) of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) successfully held the Microbiome Creation Product (MCP) 2024 at the Integrated Laboratory of Faperta UGM on 26 October 2024. The program was attended by 45 high school students from Yogyakarta and surrounding areas, as well as 25 students from the Agricultural Microbiology Study Program at UGM. The event aimed to introduce the field of microbiology and showcase microbiological products in the form of kombucha, created in various flavor variations. read more

As part of the peak event for Lustrum X, the Keluarga Mahasiswa Ilmu Tanah (KMIT) of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) held a talkshow themed “Indonesia and the World’s Food Barn in 2045” at the DPD RI Building in Yogyakarta. The talkshow discussed Indonesia’s crucial role in ensuring global food security, featuring Arini Wahyu Utami, M.Sc., Ph.D. (lecturer in the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Study Program at Faperta UGM) and Elki Setiyo Hadi (Walhi Yogyakarta) as speakers. read more
