Introducing Wanagama Eco Edu Park: Day Two of the Summer Course (SC-STA) 2025

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), continued the Summer Course on Sustainable Tropical Agriculture 2025 (SC-STA 2025) on its second day, Tuesday, 5 August 2025, with an educational visit to Wanagama Eco Edu Park, located in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta Special Region.

Participants from various countries, including Singapore, Bangladesh, Gambia, and the Philippines, were guided by Prof. Ir. Irfan Dwidya Prijambada, M.Eng., Ph.D., and Dr. Najmu Tsakib Akhda, S.P., M.Sc., to gain a deeper understanding of the functions and roles of Wanagama Forest in sustainable tropical forestry management.

Supporting Micro-Credentials: UGM Online MOOC Socialization for Faperta UGM Lecturers

On Wednesday, 15 January 2025, the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) held a socialization event on the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) from 09.00 to 11.00 AM at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium. The event was moderated by Desi Utami, S.P., M.Env.Sc., Ph.D., a head of Information System and Media Unit, Faperta UGM and featured Dr. Hatma Suryatmojo, S.Hut., M.Si., Director of the Directorate of Academic Innovation and Studies at UGM, as the main speaker.

Improving Learning Quality: Faperta UGM Lecturers Conduct Joint BKD Submission as a Performance Evaluation Measure

The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing the quality of education through regular lecturer performance evaluations. One of the key steps in this process is the joint submission of the Lecturer Workload Report (BKD), which took place on Monday, 13 January 2025, at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium, Faculty of Agriculture UGM.

This event was attended by lecturers from various departments within Faperta UGM, both in person and virtually via Zoom. The BKD submission serves not merely as an administrative obligation, but as a strategic tool to assess the lecturers’ achievements in implementing the three pillars of higher education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi): teaching, research, and community service.
