In a strategic collaboration, Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) had a discussion to team up with the PT Sumitomo Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) to advance the integration of information technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) in agriculture. Faculty of Agriculture UGM officially welcomed new students on Wednesday, 31 July 2024 with a symbolic opening by the Dean of the UGM Faculty of Agriculture, Ir. Jaka Widada, M.P., Ph.D. On this occasion, the Dean welcomed 599 new students from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM class of 2024. The event name was PIONIR Organik 2024, a series of students event to welcome new students annually.
