Grape Harvesting Event with Administrative Staff: A Realization of Health Promoting University (HPU) at UGM’s Faculty of Agriculture

The administrative staff of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), recently participated in a grape harvesting event on the rooftop of Building A1. This event not only celebrated the success of their rooftop vineyard but also supported the Health Promoting University (HPU) initiative aimed at improving staff well-being. Additionally, the activity strengthened the sense of community within the faculty, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

The implementation of HPU at the Faculty of Agriculture is evident through efforts to enhance health and well-being, especially for administrative staff, by promoting healthy eating habits. One of these efforts includes harvesting and consuming grapes grown on the rooftop vineyard of Building A1. read more

Caring for Mental Health, Faculty of Agriculture UGM Offers Free Counseling Services for Academic Community

The Faculty of Agriculture, UGM, remains committed to improving the mental well-being of its academic community through Individual Counseling services, available to lecturers, educational staff and students. This initiative is part of the Faculty’s efforts to support the Health Promoting University (HPU) program within the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, which focuses on mental health.

The Individual Counseling Service provides free consultations on various topics concerning the academic community, such as career, personal life, studies, and other personal issues. read more

Faculty of Agriculture UGM Inspires Students from As-Shofa Islamic High School, Pekanbaru

On Tuesday, 1 October 2024, the Faculty of Agriculture UGM welcomed a visit from students and teachers of As-Shofa Islamic High School, Pekanbaru, at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium. The group was warmly received by Agus Sudarwinto, S.E., M.M., Head of the Administrative Office of Faperta UGM, along with several lecturers from the Faculty’s Public Relations Team. During the visit, the lecturers shared motivational insights, encouraging the students to pursue higher education at Faperta UGM. read more
