The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) has launched a community service program titled “Optimizing Backyard Land for Enhancing Sub-Urban Household Food Security in Sukoharjo Regency.” This program involved a team consisting of lecturers and students from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, including Hariyani Dwi Anjani, S.P., M.Sc., Asih Kusumaningsih, S.P., M.Sc., Dr. Ega Adhi Wicaksono, S.Pi., and 5 undergraduate students from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM.
SDG 2: Zero Hunger
The Agricultural Microbiology Study Program , Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), has successfully achieved excellent accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) at the undergraduate level. This accreditation is valid from 5 November 2024 to 10 April 2029, as a recognition of the quality of education, research, and community service provided by the Study Program.
The Head of the Study Program, Ir. Ngadiman, M.Si., Ph.D., stated that this achievement is the result of hard work from all academic staff. He hopes this recognition will further strengthen the program’s commitment to improving the quality of education.
The Master’s Program in Phytopathology at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) has received excellent accreditation from BAN-PT. This accreditation is valid from 12 November 2024 to 3 May 2025, confirming that the Phytopathology Master’s Program at UGM meets the standards of education, research, and community service. This achievement also realizes the Phytopathology Master’s Program’s commitment to strengthening its education quality, ensuring the production of excellent graduates in the field of phytopathology.
