The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) welcomed an educational visit from grade 1 and 2 students of SD BIAS Giwangan, SD BIAS Kaliurang, and SD BIAS Palagan on August 13, 2026. The activity aimed to introduce agriculture and fisheries at an early age through direct learning experiences within the Faculty of Agriculture environment.

In his remarks, Prof. Ir. Jaka Widada, M.P., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, expressed his appreciation for the students’ presence. The KKN-PPM Team of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Langkara Talambo Period II in 2026 implemented a work program entitled “Ngolah Sisa, Njaga Rasa” with the Sumber Waras Women Farmers Group (KWT) at the Tahunan Village Hall, Nanggungan Hamlet, Tegalombo District, Pacitan Regency on July 20, 2026. This activity was initiated by Annisa Hizriani Faudina, a student of the Agricultural Microbiology Study Program class of 2023, as a real form of community service in increasing awareness of household organic waste management. read more

The Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University actively participated in the 2026 Eastern Region Indonesian Agricultural College Communication Forum (FKPTPI) Workshop held at The Patra Bali Resort, Jimbaran on July 22–24, 2026. This activity carried the theme “Synergy with the Eastern Region FKPTPI to Support Sustainable Agriculture” and was attended by representatives from various FKPTPI member universities.
