Prof. Ir. Achmadi Priyatmojo, M.Sc., Ph.D., also known as Prof. Ipik, a Professor in the Field of Plant Pests and Diseases at the Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), and the General Secretary of the Indonesian Phytopathology Society, made a significant contribution at The 10th International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC 2024). In his presentation titled “Interference of Climate Change on Plant-Pathogen Interaction: A Case Study on Coffee Leaf Rust Disease,” he highlighted the impact of climate change on coffee leaf rust disease.

On Monday, 18 November, 2024, the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) held a public lecture for the “Introduction to Agricultural Science” (PIP) course at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium. The guest lecture featured Yosef Adhitya Duta Dewangga, Founder & CEO of PT. Inamas Sintesis Teknologi (INASTEK), known as Duta, who presented the topic “Plant Factory with Artificial Lighting (PFAL) Blockchain.” The session was attended by students of the Faculty of Agriculture.
The Agricultural Microbiology Student Association (PERMAHAMI) of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) successfully held the Microbiome Creation Product (MCP) 2024 at the Integrated Laboratory of Faperta UGM on 26 October 2024. The program was attended by 45 high school students from Yogyakarta and surrounding areas, as well as 25 students from the Agricultural Microbiology Study Program at UGM. The event aimed to introduce the field of microbiology and showcase microbiological products in the form of kombucha, created in various flavor variations.
