The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), in collaboration with PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret) and Sleman Millennial Farmers, held a socialization event for the Community Economic Development and Empowerment Program on Wednesday, 8 January 2025. This event followed the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) which took place the day before at the Faculty of Agriculture UGM.

The event was held at the Hall of the Agriculture, Food, and Fisheries Office of Sleman Regency and attended by various stakeholders, including representatives from Indomaret, the UGM Faculty of Agriculture mentoring team, Sleman Agriculture Office officials, Bank Indonesia, and 60 members of the Sleman Millennial Farmers group. read more

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) and the UPT BPSDMP DIY have initiated a collaborative effort focusing on digital literacy training and research for agricultural extension agents and millennial farmers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). The partnership was officially marked during a meeting held on Friday, 10 January 2025, led by Dr. Alia Bihrajihant Raya from Faperta UGM and Anita Windrati, S.P., M.MA, Head of UPT BPSDMP DIY.

Scheduled for implementation throughout 2025–2026, this collaboration aims to enhance digital literacy among agricultural stakeholders. Both institutions have committed to delivering training programs designed to build the digital capacity of extension workers and young farmers, helping them leverage technology to boost agricultural productivity. Friday, 14 March 2025, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada held a General Lecture on Leadership and Sharing Experiences to Become an Academic Leader which took place in a mixed manner (offline and online) at the Prof. Harjono Danoesastro Auditorium Faperta UGM. Prof. Dr. Eng. Kuwat Triyana, M.Si. shared his experience of becoming an Academic Leader and was attended by students Faperta UGM. This event aims to develop leadership traits that have a big impact on building the future. read more
