The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM) has launched a community service program titled “Optimizing Backyard Land for Enhancing Sub-Urban Household Food Security in Sukoharjo Regency.” This program involved a team consisting of lecturers and students from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, including Hariyani Dwi Anjani, S.P., M.Sc., Asih Kusumaningsih, S.P., M.Sc., Dr. Ega Adhi Wicaksono, S.Pi., and 5 undergraduate students from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM.

The Agricultural Microbiology Study Program , Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), has successfully achieved excellent accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) at the undergraduate level. This accreditation is valid from 5 November 2024 to 10 April 2029, as a recognition of the quality of education, research, and community service provided by the Study Program.
The Head of the Study Program, Ir. Ngadiman, M.Si., Ph.D., stated that this achievement is the result of hard work from all academic staff. He hopes this recognition will further strengthen the program’s commitment to improving the quality of education.
The Master’s Program in Plant Pest Science at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faperta UGM), has officially received excellent accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This accreditation is valid from 12 November 2024 to 23 June 2025, ensuring high-quality education for the public, prospective students, and industry.
This accreditation was granted after a stringent evaluation process by BAN-PT to ensure that the Master’s Program in Plant Pest Science at UGM has met national higher education standards. With this excellent accreditation, the program demonstrates its commitment to providing relevant and high-quality education that aligns with global needs.
